  • Design of Extensions and Alterations.

  • Production of Drawings.

  • Planning Applications.

Whether undertaking alterations to your home, planning an extension or even a new build project, it is important to have sound architectural advice and a proper design.

We can provide guidance on what is feasible and can produce drawings that will show all of the information that a builder will require to turn your ideas into reality.

For most projects, it is likely that you will need Planning Permission. Our drawings can be suitable for use as part of a Planning Application and we would be happy to administer the process on your behalf.

  • Structural Calculations.

  • Building Regulations.

  • Design in Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Timber and Masonry.

We can prepare structural calculations for any situation. Typically, these are for the design of steel beams to allow for the removal of a wall or for timber roof structures to facilitate loft conversions.

For more complicated projects, we can undertake the design of raft or pile foundations and retaining walls.

When undertaking structural alterations to a property, it is a legal requirement that the works comply with Building Regulations. We are happy to advise you on the aspects of your project that would need a Building Regulations Application and can administer the process on your behalf if required.

  • Structural & Condition Surveys.

  • Remediation Options to Fix Problems.

  • Party Wall Disputes.

We can undertake a full structural condition survey of a property and comment on any issues found, along with suggesting remediation options to fix the problems. Our surveyors are also happy to comment on any specific problems you may have noticed, such as cracking, damp or drainage issues.

We appreciate that time is critical when purchasing a property, so we aim to undertake the survey and complete the report in 5 working days.

In addition to this, we are also experienced in dealing with the Party Wall etc Act 1996 and regularly advise on Party Wall disputes and boundary disputes
