The Design of a 'Community Hub' in Goathland, North Yorkshire
We were approached to assist with the design of a proposed 'community-hub', incorporating a library, gallery, information centre, and a small cinema/performing arts venue, all within the confines of an existing building. The design process involved the creation of a series of models and 3D visuals in order to create a design that met with the client's expectations. This process was followed by the production of a series of working drawings.
Design presentation boards and cardboard model, used for the village consultation. | We cleverly designed the small space to ensure no space was wasted. | Interior view showing the mezzanine level, which was planned to be used as the gallery/exhibition space. |
