The new garage innovatively housed a sewage treatment plant
This project, which comprised a new garage, kitchen extension and the renovation of the original property, required the practice to demonstrate skill and sensitivity in handling building work in a conservation area, within the North York Moors National Park. The cottage was tastefully extended to be in keeping with the surrounding properties in the hamlet, whilst the interior was designed to maximise natural light and space. The new garage innovatively housed a sewage treatment plant, which saved an otherwise extensive irrigation drainage system.
